(Coppell, Texas \u2013 September 26, 2024) CISD Business Students on the New Tech campus today announce the continuation of their business \u2014 SPARK, which offers enrichment courses for CISD students grades 5-8. SPARK aims to\u00a0<\/i>ignite a spark in young students within CISD with a substantial course offering, including robotics, coding, graphic design, public speaking, art & art history, badminton, cricket, chess, personal finance, Bollywood dance, camera 101, and music theory. Courses will be taught by skilled high school students on the New Tech campus in Coppell and supervised by CISD teachers. The first courses start on October 17 and are split into two time blocks on each Thursday until December 19.<\/p>\n
The start-up and operation of SPARK is a collective effort of approximately 60 New Tech High business students under guidance of their business teacher, Marieke Mastebroek.
